ABOUT THE PERSON BEHIND THE BRAND(S)
EconToolBox is more than just a platform—it’s the culmination of my life’s journey, experiences, and the desire to make financial knowledge accessible to everyone. As someone who once struggled to navigate the complexities of economics and personal finance, I know how daunting it can feel to face these challenges without the right tools or guidance.
My passion for economics began in college, where I discovered that understanding the systems shaping our lives was both empowering and essential. But as a Black woman stepping into corporate America and the finance space, I often found myself as the only one in the room who looked like me. Those experiences taught me resilience and underscored the importance of representation, but they also ignited a greater mission: to make economics relatable, actionable, and inclusive for everyone—especially for those who have historically been excluded from these conversations.
EconToolBox is an extension of that mission, built on the foundation of my work with Scholars & Dollars, Inc. and The Junior Economist. From creating programs that simplify complex financial concepts for underserved communities to curating digital tools that empower individuals to take control of their finances, every resource I’ve developed stems from a deeply personal place. I’ve seen firsthand how access to financial literacy can transform lives, and I’m committed to bringing that transformation to as many people as possible.
Starting EconToolBox was one of the scariest yet most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made. It’s a space where knowledge meets practicality, where big ideas turn into real-world tools, and where I get to share everything I’ve learned along the way to help you thrive.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. My hope is that EconToolBox inspires you to take control of your financial future and equips you with the confidence to navigate the economic landscape with clarity and purpose.
With Gratitude,
Guyesha
